CANopen Library for Windows

A professional-grade CANopen API DLL for building PC applications. It provides a complete CANopen platform, with full documentation, a C header file, and a ready-to-run example application included. Supported languages include C, C++, and .NET Framework.

The CANopen DLL lets you develop custom CANopen-based PC software quickly, without needing to dive into every low-level detail of the protocol. The kit includes a high-quality CANopen DLL plus a PEAK CAN driver DLL, along with documentation and the necessary library/import files. The CANopen DLL handles all CANopen functionality and uses either the PEAK CAN driver DLL or a Kvaser CAN driver DLL to communicate with your CAN interface.

Use it to create CANopen masters, managers, and configuration tools in a fraction of the usual time. It’s also ideal for building data transfer utilities, firmware update tools, and network analysis applications. For production environments, it enables simple, purpose-built test and service software, so operators don’t need CANopen training or protocol knowledge to use your tools effectively.

System Requirements

The CANopen DLL can run on Windows© 7/8/8.1/10/11. Any PEAK or Kvaser CAN interface is required. The CANopen DLL can work with any currently available interface.

Also required is a PC application development system. Library and/or import files are provided for Microsoft© Visual C++. For other development systems you will need to generate your own library or import files from the header file or DLL.

Limitations

General technical support is provided when using any PC development system. This consists of general questions on the DLL functionality. Specific help can only be given when using Microsoft© Visual C++ or C#.
